P365/31 - Sunday
Triathlon One for 2010. My mountain bike looks a bit out of place, but it got me through the course this morning.
P365/30 - Saturday
Christmas Baubles. Started to put the holiday things away this weekend, but have to eat the sweets in this container first.
P365/28 - Thursday
Sleepy Boy. Was a VERY hot day on Wednesday. As soon as we got home Jag plopped himself on the bed under the air conditioning vent and pretty much stayed there until bedtime.
P365/27 - Wednesday
Training. This was the empty pool shot I took first thing Wednesday morning when Mandy and I met at Beatty pool to swim together. It was empty because this was the shorter 25 metre pool next to the 50 metre.
P365/25 - Monday
Vikings Supporter. Was trying to figure out how to represent the fact I was cheering for the Vikings while watching the game on Monday night that I had recorded that morning. What better way than to put on my purple swim cap and pretend to be a viking with my wild hair sticking out from underneath! Just need a big bushy beard too.

P365/23 - Saturday
Appetite Suppressants. Just the time it takes to crack and 'de-shell' a few of these is enough to stop you eating too many. :0)
P365/22 - Friday
Fitness Recorder. Found a discounted water proof watch today to help me record my times as I improve in swimming, cycling and running. Looking to trying it out on Sunday.
P365/21 - Thursday
Favourite Shoes. One of the photo prompts for January suggested taking photos of shoes. As these are my favourite pair thought I would share them.
P365/20 - Wednesday
Apple Peeler. New toy at work. It peels, cores and cuts the apple into a slinky shape - fun to play with. :0)
P365/19 - Tuesday
Planning Journal. Had fun decorating my new "control" journal today. I knew I wanted daisies, so finding just the right photos to fit the covers and spine of my journal was my mission during lunch.
P365/18 - Monday
Pretty and practical water flask. This is my new container to inspire me to drink more water at work. Love the red with blue dragonfly print.
P365/17 - Sunday
Pomegranate Arils. These lovely red seed coverings inside the pomegranate taste so yummy. Should buy this fruit more often.
P365/16 - Saturday
Podiatrist Checkup. Feet going well a year on from getting orthotics. Should have done it years ago.
P365/15 - Friday
Bougainvillea Graveyard. Noticed this pile of fallen bougainvillea blossoms on my exercise route yesterday so decided to stop for a photo today. Love the different shades of pinks.

P365/13 - Wednesday
Elusive Hunt. Quest to find a flattering swimsuit sent me back home to try on all my old suits again to find one that wasn't too horrible looking to get back in the training pool.
P365/11 - Monday
Computer photos - took these photos on my computer Monday morning while I "watched" the Packer vs Cardinal game. Heart was racing at the end of 4th quarter and just a little disappointed that overtime ended so abruptly the way it did.

P365/9 - Saturday
Trusty holiday chair. Spent some quality time in this chair in our backyard almost every day of this holiday. Good times.

P365/8 - Friday
Beach stroll. Early morning walk along our beach this morning with Mandy and Dad Collins. Not a super long one, but really lovely in the morning sunshine.
P365/7 - Thursday
Photo walk. Did a bit of shopping in town on Thursday and walking under these trees by Central Park had to take a few photos of the bright colour of their flowers. They are a bit messy at certain times of the year - but certainly grab the attention now with their orange/red flowers.
P365/6 - Wednesday
Calm. Was such a still morning on Wednesday. Not even a little breeze to blow the vines along the back fence. So took advantage of the early light to capture the beautiful yellow again of these flowers.
P365/4 - Monday
Did a bit of gardening on Monday and seeing all this new growth at the base of my cabbage trees reminded me that Mandy said these were called "pups". So what do you think of the new litter?

P365/3 - Sunday
Photoshop Sunday. Spent the better part of today trying to design a template to simplify my photo posting and at the same time start designing a photo book. But after quite a few hours I decided posting multiple photos in one post on my blog wasn't what I really wanted to do and that the photo book could be designed later. So stopped using Photoshop and instead went back to reading one of my many magazines about Photoshop. :0)

P365/2 - Saturday
Another photo to depict "New Beginnings". Not sure I ever realised that the seeds of the grass in my backyard were purple!
P365/1 - Friday
Day one of the new year and time to start taking another 365 photos. Have been reading a number of photography websites for ideas this year and one site (Digital Photography School) currently has a two week assignment on New Beginnings that I thought sounded perfect for this week. I will be checking out this website every couple of weeks to try the challenge during the two weeks. New challenge starts on 7 Jan.
So today's photo is about how important water is to most new beginnings and sustaining life in general.
